The Incinerator kids

Barry is much more than a seaside town, it is a buzzing town with 5000 new residents moving into the Waterfront development. We have over 4000 kids attending local schools and a massive 300,000 visitors to the beach each year.
What we don't want – what we don't NEED is an untested new energy plant which they insist isn't a waste plant despite it burning WASTE wood and already mentions burning household waste for the future.

This plant wants to run 24 hours a day, processing over 200 tons of waste wood chips and storing 600 tons on site all the time.

This type of wood is highly flammable and often self combusts if it is not managed properly.

Helping stop this is easy simply write a quick letter/ email to Natural Resources Wales consultation and sign our petition.
